How do you change your Login in WordPress?
Answer; very simply……and why would you want to?
Well, WordPress websites like any others out there are vulnerable to hackers. These hackers know that the default login for WordPress is ‘Admin’ and many people new to WordPress will just keep it as this for ease of access………..DON’T!!!
If you currently have ‘Admin’ as your login username, then simply watch this video, keep pausing and make the changes as the video moves along. Even if you don’t have a secondary email, it’s OK – just make one up because you’ll be changing it back anyhow towards the end.
